Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant area.
• Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience in a learning environment.
• Alternatively, have 12 months experience in a formal learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with educational support and care of pupils with special educational needs.
• Support in implementing Education/ Care Plans and behavioural programmes.
• Contribute to inclusion of pupils in mainstream settings.
• Assist with classroom administration and recording of pupil progress.
• Attend in-service training and support task tasks as directed.
