Job summary

Herz Valves UK Ltd is actively seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Southwest. The role is field-based with strong emphasis on building long-term client relationships, securing new business, and delivering on commercial KPIs.

You’ll consult with a varied client base, understand technical requirements, and work with internal teams to ensure excellent service. Hybrid working and regular travel to Peterborough are involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales or area sales management in a B2B environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness with KPI focus.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a defined sales territory across the Southwest.
• Cultivate long-term relationships to maximise spend and reduce attrition.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with SMEs, merchants, architects.
• Consult with clients to understand technical requirements and provide value-led solutions.
• Monitor spend, margins and retention; address risks proactively.
• Meet agreed KPIs, sales targets and growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline and forecasts; attend quarterly meetings at head office.
