Job description

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Leaving Care Team at Southwark Council.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise staff within the Leaving Care service, providing leadership, support, and professional guidance.
  • Ensure care leavers receive high-quality, timely, and outcome-focused support in line with statutory guidance.
  • Oversee complex cases, ensuring risks are appropriately managed and escalated when required.
  • Ensure pathway plans, reviews, and transitions are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.
  • Monitor team performance, quality assurance, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to promote positive outcomes for young people.
Pay Rate
  • £45.20 p / h Umbrella
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant management experience
  • Significant experience working within Leaving Care / Children Looked After services
  • Proven experience managing and supervising social work staff
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
  • Social Work England registration
