Are you a passionate litigator ready to take your career to the next level? Thompsons Solicitors is looking for a skilled and driven Lawyer to join our dynamic Birmingham team. You’ll play a key role in delivering justice for our clients while contributing to the operational and financial success of our office.

In this role, you’ll manage a full EL/PL multi-track caseload from litigation to trial. You’ll handle issue and service of proceedings, defences, court directions, interim applications, and trial preparation. You’ll also liaise directly with union clients and colleagues, presenting complex legal matters clearly and confidently, while delivering legal services with empathy, care, and a personal touch.

We’re looking for an admitted Solicitor or CILEx with at least 3 years’ experience in litigating EL/PL multi-track cases. You’ll need strong knowledge of statutory and common law procedures, excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and a client-first mindset.
