Solar PV Technical Design Engineer

Are you a passionate and experienced Solar PV Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled professional to design, specify, and oversee solar PV installations across domestic and commercial projects. What You'll Do

• Full project lifecycle management from concept to sign-off
• Design and specify solar PV systems for roof and ground-mounted installations
• Conduct site surveys and assessments for commercial and domestic projects
• Utilise PV design software including PVsyst, AutoCAD, and PVSol
• Liaise with District Network Operators (DNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)
• Work with a team of renewable energy experts while also managing projects independently

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR significant PV design experience
• 4+ years of solar PV design experience in domestic and commercial projects
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and PVSol for high quality system design
• Knowledge of CHP, gas, and battery storage systems (desirable)
• Experience handling DNO applications and grid connection processes
• Strong problem solving skills and a passion for renewable energy
