Job summary

A leading energy project firm is seeking an Experienced Solar Project Manager to join a construction team in Glasgow, Scotland. You will lead projects from development through to execution, managing multi-MW solar and battery sites. Responsibilities include overseeing project managers, engineers, procurement personnel, and subcontractors. Candidates must have strong knowledge of solar construction, project management expertise, and relevant certifications like a CSCS Supervision card. This role will require travel to various sites across the South West of England.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Solar and/or Battery construction and/or design.
• Expertise in construction project management or design project management.
• Understanding of contracts and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead phases from development through EPC stage to project execution.

Job description

My Client is resourcing for an Experienced Solar Project Manager to join and become a key component of there construction team. You will lead phase from development, through EPC stage until project execution. You will effectively manage the construction of multi-MW sites by handling the interface between my clients project managers, engineers and procurement people, and the numerous construction subcontractors on site.

Skills and Experience

• In depth knowledge of Solar and / or Battery construction and / or design
• Construction project management or design project management expertise
• Understanding of construction contracts and contractual obligations
• Key stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of risk management
• Strong understanding of HSE
• Strong time management skills
• A CSCS Supervision card is required

The sites are situated throughout the South West of England, and the role will require travelling to and from various sites.
