Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience with a Bachelor's.
  • 3+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
  • 2+ years of programming experience with C, C++, Java, Python.

General Summary: As a Software Virtual Platform Engineer, you will specialize in virtual platforms, including SystemC TLM and QEMU. Your primary focus will be on developing high‑level system virtual models of complex SoC hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop SystemC TLM models to accurately represent SoC architectures.
  • Integrate components such as processors, interconnects, peripherals, and custom IP blocks into the SystemC simulator.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware designers, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate system requirements into detailed SystemC models.
  • Apply extensive C++ programming experience to ensure efficient and effective model development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Software/Firmware Engineering or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing Virtual Platforms or Simulators.
  • Open Source Development experience.
  • Experience in Unit Testing.
  • Continuous Integration experience.
  • ARM Fast Models experience.
  • Experience with Server Architecture (RAS, Manageability).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leverage advanced software/hardware systems knowledge to design and modify virtual models.
  • Define software requirements to develop complex SoC TLM models.
  • Design and implement TLM models for large‑scale products and systems.
  • Lead design, coding, and testing efforts to meet specifications and schedules.
  • Perform code reviews and regression tests, and triage issues to ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with individuals outside the software function to design solutions that integrate with other project components.
