Our wonderful client is a mission-driven technology company building assistive communication products that help disabled people live more independent lives. Their work ensures that people who experience difficulty with speech are never left without a voice.

They're looking for a Software Developer to join a growing R&D team and help build mobile and desktop applications used by people around the world every day. This is a rare opportunity to work on software where the impact is immediate, tangible and deeply human.

The role

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative agile team creating assistive and augmentative communication products across Windows and iOS. The role is primarily focused on mobile and desktop development, with some involvement in the web services and APIs that support the applications.

You’ll be involved across the full product lifecycle understanding user needs, shaping ideas, building and shipping features, and supporting products once they’re in the hands of users. User‑centred design is core to how the team works, and you’ll regularly collaborate with specialists and end users to make sure the software truly delivers value.

What you’ll bring
  • 2+ years' experience developing software in C# or a similar language
  • Experience building mobile or desktop applications on Windows and/or iOS
  • Strong software design skills and a good understanding of automated testing
  • Confidence working in existing codebases and improving them over time
