Overview

As a Software Developer, you'll join our agile team to develop and maintain our cutting-edge CAD planning system, used by designers to bring customer visions to life. You'll also help design and support innovative internal systems across manufacturing, transport, installations, and customer service. Develop and maintain Wren's custom application, writing clear, maintainable code. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to scope projects and contribute throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities
  • Join an agile team to develop and maintain the CAD planning system.
  • Design and support internal systems across manufacturing, transport, installations, and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain Wren's custom application, writing clear, maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to scope projects and contribute throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience developing and maintaining JavaScript applications.
  • Proficient in TypeScript, React, NodeJS, HTML5, Canvas, and Less.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript concepts (e.g. mixins, composition, scope), OOP, and software design patterns.
  • Strong maths skills and ability to design complex algorithms.
  • Experience with unit and automated testing, including tools like Docker, Webpack, NPM, ESLint, and Karma.
  • Familiar with Git workflows, Agile methodologies, and CI environments.
  • Exposure to AWS and Linux/macOS environments.
  • Background in retail or manufacturing environments.
