Wanting to work for an effective front door service as part of a MASH Team?

We are currently working with a large, well-structured local authority in South Wales seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their MASH/Assessment Team. This is a pivotal frontline role at the point of referral, where your decisions shape the direction of intervention and support for vulnerable children and families.

Working in a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you’ll work closely with professionals from health, education, police, and early help services to gather information, make informed decisions, and ensure appropriate safeguarding responses. The team also covers initial assessments and short-term interventions, with clear handovers to longer-term teams when needed.

About You
  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Registered with Social Care Wales

  • Able to work effectively with multi-agency partners and under pressure
