As a Social Worker in Adult Social Care, you’ll be central to promoting strength‑based and personalised approaches that support people to achieve their goals, remain independent, and enhance their wellbeing.

You’ll work across a wide range of adult client groups and pathways – including safeguarding, mental health, disabilities, older adults, hospital discharge, and community teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence service delivery through innovation, continuous learning, and quality assurance.

About You

What You’ll Bring

• Social Work qualification (BSc, DipSW, CQSW or international equivalent)
• Current registration with Social Work England
• Proven post‑qualifying experience in social/health care
• Experience with complex cases, crisis interventions, and safeguarding
• Strong skills in co‑producing care and support plans
• Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, DoLS, and Making Safeguarding Personal
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and supervising staff (desirable)
• Skilled in multi‑agency working and partnership development
• Familiarity with tech‑enabled care, early help, and preventative approaches
• AMHP and/or BIA qualified (or willing to train)
• Commitment to equality, culturally competent practice, and user empowerment

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
