Job Overview

As a Social Media Manager you will be a passionate social media professional who can generate new ideas and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing Team and across the business in general. This is an amazing role where every day brings new challenges. You will develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the business as you support sales channels, employer brand, sustainability, product campaigns and charity events, etc.

This is a fast‑paced environment and you will need to be a self‑starter, confident, a great storyteller and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’ll have the ability to balance creativity and analytical skills to develop our Content Plan through to Execution and Performance Tracking.

Typical Duties
  • Lead and execute a comprehensive social media plan across platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Create, curate and schedule engaging content (text, images, video and graphics) aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Manage and grow our online communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages and fostering brand loyalty.
  • Monitor trends, industry news and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing design and content teams to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Demonstrate high‑performance behaviour, leading by example and openly demonstrating a desire to be the best you can.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and analytics tools.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g. Later, Sprout).
  • Basic design and video editing skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) are a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
