Job Title: Social Media Executive

Location: Leeds

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Bonuses, 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension

About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Executive will play a key role in enhancing the company's social media presence by creating and managing social media campaigns and producing engaging content across all platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to join an internationally renowned distributor of entertainment lighting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and publish creative, brand-aligned content and manage content calendars for various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with followers to foster a positive brand community and handle customer inquiries.
  • Contribute to the planning, execution, and analysis of social media marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive traffic or sales.
  • Use analytics tools to track key metrics, understand audience engagement, and generate reports to inform future strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, features, and best practises to ensure campaigns are relevant and effective.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms and manage the company's online reputation.
  • Work with marketing, PR, and other departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies.
  • Travel to industry events and company offices to create new content for social media.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a marketing position with direct experience in social media management.
  • Creative with the ability to propose and direct new content ideas.
  • Strong camera skills with a good vision for directing content.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional and confident communicator via phone and email.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse the latest social media and marketing trends.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
