Location: Wilmslow, 25 minute commute from Manchester Piccadilly.

This role is about social-first storytelling, personality and execution.

This is a hands-on, video-first role for someone who loves telling stories through short-form content - and knows how to package those stories so people actually watch.

You’ll be creating, editing, posting, testing, and learning in real time - confidently in front of the camera, as well as behind it, capturing ideas, moments and product stories as they unfold day-to-day inside a fast-moving e-commerce brand.

Our Story

Verve was born in Manchester in 2023 when our founder, Oliver Cookson (Founder of MyProtein), started making his own greens drink at home. Not to sell - but because he didn’t trust what was already out there.

Where You Come In

We’re growing fast - and we’re looking for a creative, video-led thinker to grow with us.

This is a mid-level role for a creative who wants to be close to the action and hungry to be part of a fast-moving startup. You’ll work alongside the Creative Lead, embedded in the day-to-day of the brand and involved in shaping how Verve shows up across social.

You’ll be based primarily in our Wilmslow office, with time spent in and around Manchester city centre - heading to shoots, events and brand moments, capturing content as it happens, and staying close to the action as the brand grows.

You won’t be boxed in. You’ll help shape how Verve shows up, how our products are understood, and how our story is told - visually, creatively, and commercially.

As Verve grows, this role grows with it.

What You'll Do

This role is video-creator-led, but broad enough to let your strengths shine.

You’ll help:

  • Create short-form video content for social, ads, and campaigns
  • Film, edit and design content that brings products, ideas and moments to life
  • Regularly appear on camera, featuring in and leading short-form content with the wider team across social
  • Turn creative ideas into content that actually performs
  • Test, learn, and iterate - using performance to guide creative decisions
  • Support wider brand and marketing campaigns with strong visual thinking
Skills & Experience
  • A strong creative background, built through relevant education / experience working on real-world content and campaigns
  • Strong short-form video editing skills, with experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Working knowledge of After Effects for motion, text and basic animation
  • Confident filming content (iPhone or camera), both behind and in front of the lens
  • A solid understanding of social-first video formats and storytelling, supported by examples or a portfolio of previous work
  • Ability to move quickly, edit efficiently, and iterate based on performance
