A leading NHS Trust in Doncaster seeks a Skin Integrity Specialist Sister to provide expert advice on skin integrity management. The role includes delivering individualized patient care, managing a caseload of patients, and contributing to policy development in skin integrity. Candidates should be NMC Registered Nurses with relevant qualifications and experience. The position is permanent, full-time, and offers a competitive salary ranging from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum.

To provide specialist advice and education to patients, carers and all health care professionals on all aspects of skin integrity throughout the Trust. To ensure the maintenance and development of clinical excellence in skin integrity by informing and utilising the Trust's Skin Integrity team's policies, strategies, audit processes, education and research agenda.
To deliver individualised patient care based on evidence best practice.
To create a highly visible profile throughout the Trust.
To act as an accountable role model through the provision of competent practice.
To act as a patient/staff advocate through the application of ethical, legal and professional knowledge and skills.
To utilise an approach which fosters research appreciation and critical awareness, whilst demonstrating the application of evidence based practice.
To contribute to the evaluation of the appropriate use of Skin Integrity products in order to facilitate the cost‑effective selection of these products in the provision of care.
To provide cover for Skin Integrity team members as determined by the Lead Nurse – Skin Integrity.
To actively manage a patient caseload using a full range of clinical decision making and management plans for patients with compromised Skin Integrity issues.
To demonstrate an awareness of the complex needs of different client groups when imparting or receiving sensitive, complex or contentious information.
To utilise a flexible adaptable approach through the delivery of specialist practice.
