Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the required number of learners to support Skills Coach caseloads in line with KPI’s
- Carry out planned face to face observation visits at the employer premises in accordance with Eden delivery models (early years)
- Review learner’s performance and progress accurately and line with operational and quality requirements
- Motivate learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines, delivering and supporting the assessment process
- Monitor Health & Safety, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Safeguarding within employer settings in line with Eden’s health and wellbeing processes & policies
- Provide effective IAG service to both internal and external clients/customers
- Manage own time effectively in order to progress learners including completion of paperwork and updating of systems to minimum standards
- Attend the centre as required to undertake IQA quality checks, caseload review/121, peer support, training
- Maintain communication and liaison with primary Skills Coach to maximise the progression and achievement of learners
- Comply will all settings/employers health and safety policies and procedures including the use of PPE
- Actively market business and learner progression opportunities
- Promote Eden Training Solutions at every opportunity with employers and learners, as well as all other internal and external parties
- Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management

About you
- Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification
- Teacher, training qualifications or equivalent (eg: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)
- Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (L3)
Qualifications
Mandatory level qualifications
- A*- C GCSE English (or Equivalent)
- Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification
- TAQA or equivalent qualification (eg: D32/33, A1, CAVA)
Desirable level qualifications
- Teacher, training qualifications or equivalent (eg: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)
- Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (L3)
Skills & Experience
- Experience of carrying out face to face observations in line with the requirements of apprenticeship standards
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
- Good ICT/digital skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to learn and achieve through face to face and remote media interactions
- Experience of Ofsted Inspection
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem solving skills
- Honesty and reliability
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Supervisory experience

- Full enhanced DBS check
