Skilled Production Operative, Glasgow, £13.38 - £14.00 per hour - dependant on experience

We're looking for skilled and motivated individuals to join a busy factory environment in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role suited to those with strong practical ability, good attention to detail, an ability to follow work instruction in line with technical drawings and the drive to work towards high quality and output targets.

What you'll be doing:
As a Skilled Production Operative, you'll be responsible for building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland. Your daily duties will include:

  • Following step-by-step process guides to assemble products accurately
  • Interpretation of technical drawings to ensure build completed to required quality standards
  • Using a range of heavy hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out manual handling of timber and materials, always ensuring safe manual handling
  • Working to quality and output targets
  • Keeping your work area tidy, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety procedures
  • Collaborating with your team and line leader to support efficient workflows and continuous improvement

What you can expect:

  • An ongoing, full-time role.
  • Day shift hours: Tuesday to Friday, 06:00 - 16:00 (37.5 hours, 4-day week)
  • A rate of pay starting from £13.38 to £14.00 per hour dependant on experience - rising to £14.75 per hour once fully trained and achieving agreed quality/output targets.
  • A comprehensive training plan, with clear progression steps

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a production, fabrication or assembly environment.
  • Ability to follow technical drawings and detailed process instructions with accuracy.
  • Confidence in using hand and heavy power tools.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and meeting daily production targets.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks.
  • A reliable team player with excellent timekeeping and a proactive attitude.
