• Carrying out quality checks, snagging, and maintaining detailed site paperwork.

• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Reporting progress to Project/Contracts Managers.

Approach Personnel is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in Passive Fire Protection to work with one of our established clients operating across social housing properties in the West Midlands.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you will oversee passive fire works across occupied and void social housing units. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest compliance standards, while managing teams, subcontractors, and maintaining clear communication with tenants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising passive fire installations and remedial works (fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors etc.)
• Ensuring all works comply with FIRAS / BM TRADA or equivalent standards
• Managing site teams, organising workloads, and ensuring productivity
• Carrying out quality checks, snagging, and maintaining detailed site paperwork
• Liaising with tenants, housing officers, and client representatives
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures
• Reporting progress to Project/Contracts Managers

Requirements

• Proven experience within passive fire protection
• Previous experience working within social housing (occupied properties)
• Strong understanding of compliance, regulations, and best practice
• Supervisory or leadership experience on site
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Relevant accreditations (FIRAS, BM TRADA, IFCC) desirable but not essential
