MCR Property Group is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor for a Bedford-based project. You will manage procurement, cost reporting, and final accounts, providing commercial leadership from inception through to final account.

The role is primarily site based with valuations and project reviews as needed. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of subcontract procurement, extensive experience in developer/main contractor/subcontractor environments, and proficiency in Excel and related

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor across a range of project types and values.
Experience within a developer, main contractor, or subcontractor environment.
Confident operating across pre- and post-contract stages.
Preparing cost plans and estimates, measurement for bills of quantities, tendering and procurement, value engineering, tender reporting, interim valuations and final accounts.

Responsabilités

Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
Manage contract and subcontract packages and variations.
Collaborate with Project Managers and fellow Quantity Surveyors across the portfolio.
Support commercial strategy and financial control of projects on-site.
