Job summary

MCR Property Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a Bedford-based project, responsible for cost control, procurement, and financial delivery from inception through final account. The role is site-based with regular valuations and project reviews, offering visibility to senior management.

You will manage subcontract procurement, cost reporting, forecasting, and variations, working within a growing property business and collaborating with project managers and other surveyors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as Quantity Surveyor across varied project types
• Experience within developer, main contractor or subcontractor environment
• Site-based role with pre- and post-contract exposure

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting, financial forecasting and cost control
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, variations and tendering processes
• Collaborate with project team and stakeholders to drive commercial strategy
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and final accounts
