Job summary

Randstad C&P in Bath is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations for one of our trusted clients. The role is based in Bath with occasional travel to sister sites for joint training and collaborative projects.

You will line-manage an in-house team, communicate with residents daily, supervise health and safety standards, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain admin records.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations or customer-facing environments with direct staff supervision.
• Proactive, health-and-safety conscious mindset and practical problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and line-manage an in-house team of 9 tradespeople and 2 cleaners.
• Communicate with residents daily to support their journey and resolve enquiries.
• Oversee site health, safety, and compliance with regular checks.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for larger works and maintain records.
• Support emergency procedures and duty manager rota for continuity.
