Job summary

A reputable contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a short-term project in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will manage civils and groundworks operations, ensuring safety and quality throughout the process. Responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors, coordinating with clients, and maintaining project documentation. Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, and civils works, along with relevant certifications, are essential. This role offers a duration of 7 weeks starting mid-February.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils / groundworks.
  • Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, and general civils works.
  • SMSTS certification required.
  • CSCS card is mandatory.
  • First Aid at Work certification needed.
  • Ability to manage programme and labour effectively.

Overview

Site Manager - Civils / Groundworks – Nottingham. Start: Mid-February. Duration: 7 Weeks. We're recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee civils and groundworks works on a project based in Nottingham. This is a short-term role, ideal for a Site Manager who can hit the ground running and confidently manage groundworks packages from day one.

Responsibilities
  • Managing day-to-day site operations for civils / groundworks works
