Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Site Manager in Birmingham to oversee a new build project comprising five housing units. The ideal candidate will have robust Site Management experience, ideally overseeing similar projects with JCT and NEC knowledge. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and health and safety compliance. Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the site of a new build apartments / housing site (5 units in total)
• Manage subcontractors and direct labour offering technical advice when needed
• Ensure quality control is followed and the site programme is adhered to
• Conduct site reports for the contracts manager
• Lead site meetings when required
• Health and Safety responsibility including toolbox talks

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience as a no2 on larger schemes or a no1 Site Manager on similar projects
• JCT and NEC experience
• Full UK driving license
• CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid
• NVQ Level 6 preferred
• Enhanced DBS checked to be completed prior to start
