ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable and customer focused Site Manager to join our team based at Church Lane, Lewes, BN72DZ.

Job Type : Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate : £17.00 - £18.50 per hour depending on experience.

Working Hours : 40Hrs per week, 8Hrs per day, Monday to Friday - 07 : 00Hrs to 16 : 00Hrs. (hours need to be flexible start / finish times and may include weekend as required paid as overtime)

Start Date : Immediately after successful Vetting (usually takes up to 4 weeks)

Key Responsibilities and Tasks :

Overview of Role

As a Site Manager, you will interact and support the Operational Management team to supervise a team of cleaning staff across your dedicated sites, building an effective relationship and ensuring that employees are working productively and safely. You will be required to be an excellent communicator ensuring all team members are engaged and motivated, feel supported and valued in their work environment.

You will work with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Manage site cleaning teams to achieve excellent service levels
  • Recruitment, including interviewing of Operative level employees and onboarding to Tenon FM systems
  • Consumables and materials ordering. Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels
  • Contribute to and maintain good relationship with customer representatives on site
  • Work with customers and teams to address any specific requirements or concerns
  • Responsible for work force planning and efficiencies for your sites
  • Training of operative level employees across all requirements
  • HR investigations and support where required
  • Training of new employees including site familiarisation detailing cleaning regime
  • Provide hands‑on cleaning support across sites during periods of holiday or sickness cover and responding to cleaning requests as required
  • Support in rota organisation as well as providing accurate timesheets to the Operations Manager
Key Skills
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with evidence of leading high performing teams
  • Strong people management with the ability to motivate and train employees
  • Very strong client focus with the ability to quickly build credible relationships and to challenge when necessary
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values
  • Proven record of being responsive, flexible and innovative
  • Exceptional organisation skills required.

Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
