Role Overview

We are looking for two experienced Steel Fitters to join our team on an 8-week contract starting Monday in Tilbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals who can handle conveyor steelwork and associated tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Steel Fitter, you will install handrails, bends, and bolt‑on steel guards
• Steel fitting, grinding, and drilling holes
• General fabrication and assembly of conveyor components
• Occasional weekend work may be required
• Potential work over Christmas (24th, 25th, 26th, 31st, 1st OFF )

Requirements

• CSCS Card – Mandatory
• IPAF Certification – Mandatory
• Strong knowledge of steelwork and fabrication
• Ability to work with conveyors and associated components
• Welding experience – nice to have, not essential

Working Hours

• Standard: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
• Optional extended hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Overtime: Paid after 47.5 hours/week (OT rate applies after 50 hours)

Additional Info

• Must be prepared for potential Christmas shifts
• Weekend work may be required
