Job summary

A leading subcontractor in construction is looking for a Site Engineer for a new contract position in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will manage the QA process, set out reinforced concrete frames and groundworks, and ensure seamless handovers on site. Candidates should have a CSCS card and at least 4 years of experience in the UK, with specific expertise in slipform techniques. This is a contract role with an immediate start date.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UK experience in site engineering.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card.
• Experience with slipform required.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance and as-builts on site.
• Set out of reinforced concrete frame and groundworks.
• Supervise a team of engineers and manage handovers.

My client is a leading sub‑contractor who is overseeing the works on a RC frame and groundworks project around the Newcastle area. We are currently recruiting a site engineer to start a brand new position.

Site Engineer Duties

• Managing QA and as‑builts.
• Setting out of RC frame and groundworks.
• Must have slipform experience.
• Looking after a gang of engineers.
• Manage handovers on site.
