Sector: Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

Mercury Hampton is supporting a well-established contractor delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued workload, we are recruiting a Site Agent to take full responsibility for the safe, timely and efficient delivery of site operations.

The Role

The Site Agent will lead site delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for site delivery and performance
  • Management of Site Engineers, Supervisors/Foremen and subcontractors
  • Implementation and adherence to HSQE management systems
  • Promotion of a strong safety culture across site activities
  • Hold and apply a Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator ticket
  • Monitor programme, productivity and quality
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and support teams
  • Input into construction methodology and planning
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Agent within water, wastewater or utilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Temporary Works ticket (essential)
  • Background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Willingness to work on project locations as required
