A global logistics and shipping company based in Teesside is looking for a Shipping Agent. Responsibilities include booking vessels, maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to safety. Marine experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. GAC UK is looking for a Shipping Agent to be based in Teesside. We are a global company with over 300 experts across more than 25 offices in the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar, delivering integrated shipping, logistics and marine services to the energy and shipping industries, as well as specialised sectors such as marine leisure, sports and events, automotive and aviation.
Marine experience is preferred but not essential as all training will be provided.
Based in Teesside with the requirement to travel and cover other ports.
Upon completion of training, the successful candidate will join the duty rota which consists of evening and weekend work as we are available 24/7 for our customers.
