Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a busy restaurant shift, work hands-on on the line and dining area, and help deliver the perfect burgers and fries. You’ll motivate the crew, maintain high energy, and ensure excellent guest experiences.

You should have at least 1 year of management in a high-volume hospitality or QSR setting, be obsessed with customer satisfaction, and be able to manage breaks, waste, and staffing during peak periods. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Obsessed with guest experience and able to drive satisfaction metrics.
• Understand profitable shift operations: crew breaks, waste minimization, effective deployment.
• Natural motivator who leads by example on a busy service.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front on the line and dining area.
• Support the General Manager in delivering great burgers and fries and unforgettable guest experiences.

• Resolve customer complaints promptly and transparently to uphold the Five Guys experience.
