Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Manager to lead busy shifts in our high-energy restaurant. You’ll supervise the team on the line and dining area, ensure quick, accurate orders, and uphold our brand standards for service and cleanliness.

You’ll drive guest satisfaction with insights from performance metrics, coach staff to deliver extraordinary experiences, and manage shift profitability while maintaining a safe, engaging work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Obsessed with guest experience with proven performance metrics.
• Understand basics of profitability: managing breaks, waste, and staffing during rushes.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills; lead by example and motivate the crew.
• Know and enforce Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, hands-on on the line and dining area.
• Support the General Manager to deliver excellent burgers, fries and guest experience.

• Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and handle complaints openly and promptly.
