Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Manager to support the General and Assistant Managers, lead the frontline team on the line and dining area, and ensure every shift runs to Five Guys standards. You’ll coach staff and drive a great guest experience in a high-energy environment.

You will help deliver perfect burgers and fries, manage breaks, monitor food quality and safety, and foster a positive culture aligned with our values. This is a hands-on leadership role on site.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management experience in high-volume hospitality or QSR
• Able to run a busy shift with high energy
• Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and positive reviews
• Understanding of profitability, crew breaks, waste, and staffing during rush
• Strong leadership, hands-on style, and ability to motivate the crew
• Solid knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front on the line and dining area
• Support General Manager to deliver perfect burgers and fries and provide an above-and-beyond experience for the team and customers
• Create an engaging working environment aligned with Five Guys values
• Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and address complaints promptly and honestly
• Ensure each shift runs smoothly and adheres to standards
