Five Guys in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to lead busy service periods, ensure top-notch burgers and fries, and provide an exceptional guest experience. You will manage a hands-on team, uphold company standards, and drive profitability during peak hours.

You will motivate staff, supervise shifts, and maintain safe, clean operating conditions while delivering outstanding customer service and a positive dining room atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction and manage a team on a busy shift.
• Understanding of cost control, food waste, and shift profitability.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and energy to lead a team on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front on the dining floor and on the line.
• Support General Manager in delivering consistent burgers and fries and guest experience.
• Create a positive, energetic working environment aligned with company values.
• Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and handle complaints openly.
• Ensure smooth shift operations and adherence to food hygiene and safety standards.
