Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Manager in the United Kingdom to lead a busy dining area and kitchen during shifts. You will coach team members, ensure food quality and safety, and drive guest satisfaction while upholding Five Guys values.

You’ll manage a fast-paced service, handle customer feedback promptly, and support the General Manager to create a fun, energetic working environment with a focus on consistency and results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction and delivering fast, accurate service.
• Natural leadership with hands-on approach to coaching and team motivation.
• Good working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-line teams on shift, ensuring burgers and fries are prepared to Five Guys standards.
• Support the General Manager in delivering a outstanding guest experience and resolving issues.
• Maintain a positive working environment consistent with company values (Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, Integrity).
• Ensure shifts run smoothly, manage crew breaks, and optimise service during peak periods.
