• Open/close the store and manage duty cover with a focus on customer safety.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support Store Manager with seasonal, community and charity events.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of customer-relevant products.
• Ensure POS and shelf labels reflect the desired presentation.
• Respond quickly to overcharges and prevent recurrence.
• Manage queues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Coordinate colleagues to meet daily priorities and breaks.
• Understand store operations and drive practical improvements.
• Follow health and safety routines and promote them among staff.
