Job summary

B&Q Leatherhead is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee daily store operations and ensure an engaging, safe shopping environment for customers and colleagues. You will lead the shift, deploy staff, and be the first point of contact for customers, driving a strong service culture.

The role requires a flexible schedule from early morning to late evening, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and delivering the B&Q experience to every customer.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service and supporting store operations.
• Ability to lead a team during shifts and coordinate tasks.
• Strong awareness of safety and compliance in a retail environment.
• Enjoy working in a busy, customer-facing role and supporting colleagues.
• Capable of making quick decisions to benefit the customer at pace.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
