Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee the shop when the Manager isn’t present, guiding a team to deliver excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect and drive-thru channels.

You’ll lead by example, motivate colleagues, and ensure operations run smoothly—from preparing products to maintaining clean, well-stocked displays and a welcoming shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-focused environment.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable.
