Job summary

Greggs plc is looking for a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t present, inspiring the team to uphold high standards and deliver excellent customer service. You’ll oversee daily operations, including food preparation and oven management, and ensure displays are well stocked and shop presentation is maintained.

You’ll foster an inclusive culture, draw on previous supervisory experience, and ensure your availability aligns with shifts.

• You’ll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.
