Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Engineering Shift Team Leader for a full-time position in Tewkesbury. The ideal candidate will support and coach Engineers on shift, oversee maintenance schedules, and manage electrical/mechanical plant equipment. Strong experience in high-speed machinery within the FMCG sector is essential. The role offers a salary of up to £44,740 with additional overtime. Flexible shift commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an electrical-based apprenticeship qualification is required.
• Experience with high-speed machinery ideally within FMCG.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and manage people.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental goals.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff through practical instruction.
• Coordinate and deliver planned preventive maintenance schedules.
• Repair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
• Handle equipment breakdown call-outs on a rota basis.
