It is our passion to do what’s right for our clients, employees, and the sectors we work within. To drive change, we work with highly regarded awarding bodies such as LPCB and Secured by Design.

Your Life as a Service Technician at Meesons

As a Service Technician with us at Meesons, you will work as part of a team on servicing products to provide the business and its customers with technical support nationwide. You will accurately diagnose and remedy reported faults as efficiently as practicable, with minimal disruption to the customer, always maintaining a professional and positive attitude. Your responsibilities will include conducting PMV visits thoroughly, ensuring all required aspects are completed, and demonstrating high standards of workmanship to ensure quality repairs and product reliability. At Meesons A.I., we believe our people are the driving force behind our success. You will be a personable and discreet individual.

Reporting directly to our Engineering Manager, you will demonstrate strong engineering aptitude and excellent verbal communication skills.

What is expected from you:
  • Adhere to response times, consulting with the Service Schedulers before making any changes to engineers’ schedules.
  • Manage all spare parts carried on the van or specifically for customers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and recorded accurately.
  • Complete all required documentation in relation to tasks in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Be flexible with working hours, as out-of-hours attendance including weekends may be required.
  • Work efficiently, with overnight stays where travel is prohibitive, in consultation with your line manager.
  • Identify, test, and return faulty parts.
  • Oversee and report on van stock levels, ensuring all stock used is booked out on worksheets/stock sheets.
  • Submit accurate and complete timesheets in accordance with deadlines.
  • Take responsibility for the good care of company property, including vehicles, tools, equipment, and IT equipment.
  • Keep up to date with technical information and updates provided by the Technical Support Department.
  • Comply with the Cyber Security processes of Meesons and Customers.
  • Provide all necessary documentation for Security Clearance purposes.
  • Adhere to schedules unless otherwise agreed in advance by your line manager.
  • Complete scheduled tasks to the required standards.
  • Respectfully look after vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle stocks.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in line with Meesons requirements.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and a logical approach to fault identification.
  • Possess good geographical knowledge.
  • Maintain an excellent interpersonal manner.
  • Be a competent IT user, capable of using all relevant systems.
  • Operate in line with company values and behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Display strong organizational skills.

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client’s, the successful applicant will be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
