A leading Compressed Air Manufacturer is seeking a Service Engineer / Field Service Technician to provide maintenance, repair, and installation of compressed air equipment across Birmingham and the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, with experience in field service or similar roles. An engineering degree or apprenticeship is advantageous. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading Compressed Air Manufacturer.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands including Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment.
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites. The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, valves and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Birmingham Midlands area.
Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressor products.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
