About the Client

Our client is a long-established building services business delivering top-tier heating and communal system solutions across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Commercial Pipework Fitter & Breakdown Engineer to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair commercial heating pipework and components on communal systems
• Attend breakdowns and conduct fault-finding on various heating systems
• Install and repair domestic heating pipework and equipment, including:
  • Thermostatic radiator valves
  • Pumps and cylinders
  • Radiators
  • HIUs and associated components
• Diagnose system faults and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate job records using internal systems
• Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks)

Qualifications

Experience with commercial and domestic heating systems (installations, maintenance, breakdowns)

• HVAC/pipework background with strong practical knowledge
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
• Understanding of residential and commercial communal systems
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel across the region
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Resides within commutable distance of Wandsworth
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
