A leading compressed air manufacturer in Birmingham is seeking a Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, encompassing compressors and pneumatic systems. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £37,000 to £45,000 with an OTE of £55,000 along with additional benefits such as a company van and extensive holidays.

Qualifications

  • Experience in field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems.
  • Skills in providing diagnostics and fault-finding for compressed air systems.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading Compressed Air Manufacturer

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands including Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Full product training provided.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment.

Responsibilities
  • To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
  • The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance.
  • Provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers.
Qualifications

Experience in field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment is required.
