Job summary

SMT GB in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to manage end-to-end servicing and repair activities. You will coordinate engineers, parts and resources, and ensure customer service is delivered efficiently and safely.

Working with customers, engineers and internal stakeholders, you will review reports, raise quotations, monitor progress and support the Service Delivery Manager with planning and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in service coordination, scheduling, planning or service administration.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for levels across the organisation.
• Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to interpret technical reports and mechanical terminology.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineer diaries, labour, parts and resources for service/repair work.
• Raise quotations and manage additional repairs from reports and customer requests.
• Monitor progress, costs and service performance to resolve issues promptly.
• Support compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality standards.
• Review technical reports and close warranty work accurately.
• Assist Service Delivery Manager with planning and engineer development.
• Manage multiple priorities to achieve KPIs and consistent customer experience.
