Job summary

SMT GB in Duxford, Cambridgeshire is seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to manage end-to-end servicing and repair activities. You will coordinate engineers, parts and resources, and liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure timely, safe and high-quality service delivery.

The role requires strong organisational skills, experience in service coordination or planning, and good IT proficiency, particularly Excel. We offer a competitive package and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service coordination, scheduling, planning or service administration role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
• Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating engineer diaries, labour, parts and resources to support the successful completion of service and repair work.
• Raising quotations and managing additional repairs identified through engineer reports, inspections and customer requests.
• Monitoring job progress, costs and service performance to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Supporting compliance with SMT GB's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Reviewing technical reports and ensuring jobs, including warranty work, are administered and closed accurately.
• Supporting the Service Delivery Manager with resource planning, performance management and engineer development.
• Managing multiple priorities while striving to achieve operational KPI targets and deliver a consistent customer experience.
