Job summary

SMT GB is seeking a proactive Workshop Coordinator in Duxford, Cambridgeshire to support day-to-day workshop operations. You will work with the Service Delivery Manager and engineers to manage jobs from creation to invoicing, schedule resources, and maintain high service standards.

The role requires excellent organisation, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop, service, maintenance or coordination role is essential.
• Ability to schedule resources and manage multiple service jobs from start to finish.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate labour, materials, and resources to complete workshop jobs efficiently.
• Schedule engineer resources and monitor workshop utilisation.
• Manage cases from creation to invoicing with accurate costs.
• Maintain communication with customers and provide updates for satisfaction.
• Monitor job performance, response times, invoicing and closure targets.
• Ensure purchase order processes are followed and costs are controlled.
• Support SHEQ compliance and safety procedures.
• Assist with training compliance and engineer development.
