Job summary

SMT GB is seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to join our team in Duxford. You will coordinate end-to-end servicing and repairs, ensuring engineers, parts and resources are planned to deliver excellent customer service.

You’ll work with customers, engineers and internal teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is onsite in Duxford, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service coordination, scheduling, planning or service administration role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, at all levels.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical reports and mechanical terminology.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineer diaries, labour, parts and resources for service/repair work.
• Raise quotations and manage additional repairs identified from reports and requests.
• Monitor progress, costs and service performance to resolve issues promptly.
• Support compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Review technical reports; administer warranty work and close jobs accurately.
• Assist the Service Delivery Manager with resource planning and engineer development.
• Manage multiple priorities to achieve KPI targets and deliver a consistent customer experience.
