Job summary

Ford & Slater DAF in Spalding is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy dealership. You'll greet customers, book services, and keep customers updated on costs and progress, with invoices raised and job cards prepared.

The role is 45 hours over alternate weeks, Monday to Friday, with two shift options (7am-5pm or 8am-6pm) and one in four Saturdays. An hourly rate of £12.71 is offered along with holiday, pension, and benefits.

• Previous experience in service advisor or similar is advantageous.
• PC literacy required.

Who are we looking for as a Service Advisor:

• You will be a customer focused individual with a passion for customer service.
• Previous experience working within the commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector as a Service Advisor (or similar role), would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair scheduling preferred but not essential.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).

The Service Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Meeting and greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner. Managing service bookings on day-to-day basis, ensuring efficient workshop loading. Complete service estimates accurately, clearly, and quickly. Keep customers up to date with costs, progress and authorisations. Prepare job cards & raise invoices.

Working alternate weeks: 45 hours, Monday to Friday: 7am – 5pm / 8am – 6pm.

1 in 4 Saturday morning’s.
