Job summary

Confidential Worthing car dealership is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their team. The role offers a competitive basic salary of 30,000, with an OTE of approximately 38,000 including commission and bonuses.

Working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota (8:30am to 12:30pm). You will book vehicles into the workshop, liaise with technicians, and provide ongoing communication to customers regarding repairs and servicing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor in the motor trade is essential.
• Experience with DMS systems, Kerridge or similar.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
• Professional appearance and phone manner; friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional manner.
• Book vehicles into the workshop and liaise with technicians.

Duties of a Service Advisor

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly manner to create a positive first impression
• Book vehicles into the workshop and liaise with technicians to track progress
• Provide ongoing communication to customers regarding their vehicle repairs and servicing
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Promote and sell repair work, service plans, and additional vehicle products in line with manufacturer guidelines

• Ensure workshop and administration areas are kept tidy and well-organised

Requirements of a Service Advisor

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the motor trade is essential
• Proven experience with DMS systems; Kerridge or similar preferred
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Friendly, positive attitude with a professional appearance and phone manner
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Good IT literacy and attention to procedural accuracy
