Auto Skills UK is recruiting a Service Advisor in Romford to join a franchised dealership's Aftersales team. You will be the main contact between customers and the workshop, handling bookings, estimates and upselling service plans, tyres and warranties.

A focus on delivering a first-class customer experience from booking to handover is essential. This role requires previous automotive Service Advisor experience, strong customer service skills and a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised or independent dealership.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative ability.
• Experience upselling service plans, repairs or aftersales products.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and discussing their servicing and repair requirements.
• Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing the service schedule.
• Providing accurate estimates for servicing, repairs and additional work.
• Liaising with technicians to monitor vehicle progress.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Selling additional products including service plans, tyres and extended warranties.
• Preparing invoices and explaining completed work.
• Maintaining accurate records using the dealership management system.
• Delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction (CSI).

Service Advisor

Location: Romford

Salary: £30,000 Basic and up to £15,000 OTE (£42,000-£45,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (No Weekends)

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

The Role

Our client, a successful and well-established franchised dealership, is looking to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their busy Aftersales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous automotive Service Advisor experience who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service while maximising sales opportunities. You'll act as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience from booking through to vehicle handover. The role combines customer care, administration and upselling, making communication and organisation key to success.
