Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor at a respected automotive dealership in Ipswich. You will guide customers from booking through to vehicle collection, delivering excellent customer service and trusted repair guidance.

The role requires solid aftersales experience, strong automotive knowledge, and outstanding communication. You will work Monday to Friday with weekend mornings on a 1 in 2 rotation in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor / Aftersales experience.
• Strong automotive knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
• Professional, positive and commercially aware approach.

Responsibilities

• Book customers and vehicles into the workshop.
• Prepare job cards and repair orders.
• Discuss vehicle requirements and repair work with customers.
• Provide estimates and keep customers updated.
• Liaise with Technicians and the Workshop Controller.
• Identify additional work and upsell where appropriate.
• Manage customer expectations.
• Handle queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure vehicles are completed and ready for collection.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing customers throughout the service and repair process, from booking vehicles into the workshop through to collection.
